Getting ready for new carpet. The care that you take with flooring preparation will help your new carpet to last as long as possible. Installing carpet is a job you can do yourself to save money. Most carpet installers do not perform carpentry work so it will be your responsibility to either trim them yourself or hire a professional to reinstall them. If the new carpet is thicker your doors will have to be trimmed before they can be reinstalled.

We are getting new carpet. At some point your installer may need to remove your doors to complete the installation. Once you have measured asked for estimates and chosen a new carpet you must remove the old carpet. As i previously shared the first thing we did was choose new carpet and padding.
